Edit - note to self, get provolone instead of the salty white cheddar they use. Omg!!! Since moving down from New England, I’ve been looking for a sub shop that will have my favorite sandwiches and I am so thankful to the person who directed me here. The steak and cheese is definitely one of the best sandwiches here and it will not disappoint. The sandwich is filled with steak that is moist, and perfectly balanced with the excellent bread that they use and the cheese. I took an Italian sandwich home to eat for dinner and I am telling you this is just one of the best places to go. The Italian sandwich was filled with fresh cold cuts and folded into a wonderful bread. Edit: Note to self- the white cheddar they use is too salty. Get provolone and no extra slice is needed. You definitely have to come here if you don’t wanna travel up to Dunedin. I may not like philly teams, but i love their sandwiches Edit: 3 days later and to get another cheese steak. It was that good! The ribeye looked like waygu and sliced in the back. Fresh ingredients for sure.

Being from Philly and hearing that Philadelphia magazine rated them the best cheese steak outside of Philly, obviously I was excited to try them. Philly, American, with onions and hots, the OG. It was a good sandwich, I think calling it the best outside of Philadelphia is a stretch though. The sandwich was on the smaller side, a little anemic, and maybe a little too much cheese. They went light on the hots so there wasn't much flavor added. The roll I don't think was Amoroso's, it was small and lacked that semolina texture on the outside. The onion rings and fries were excellent. Again, a good sandwich, but not driving for 35 minutes to get one good.

I went on the 2nd reopening day after new management. The staff was friendly and helpful despite there being a rush. The inside was bright and clean! After trying many phillys in the area and being disappointed, I was happy to find one that was full of flavor and options for toppings! I got grilled onions with sweet peppers. The bun was so fresh and had the perfect softness and crunch. They said the buns are baked fresh daily from a local bakery and you can taste the difference in quality! I’ll definitely be going back regularly and look forward to trying some of their other sandwich options. Great little hole in the wall nestled right in Pinellas Park.

I’ve dined at the Colonial Corner Hoagie Shop for as far as the eighties. The Philly cheesesteaks are always cooked fresh with chopped ribeye and served hot!! The flavor has always been excellent as well. Haven’t been in for a while and was surprised on how the inside atmosphere drastically changed. Don’t get me wrong, it’s extremely clean and updated, but it is definitely missing the old school decor which added to the atmosphere. Hopefully sometime they may add something to give some character. Just my opinion…I always feel drawn more to atmosphere when I’m going somewhere to eat, along with taste. Other than that, the sandwiches were excellent!!!

BEST PHILLY OUTSIDE OF PHILLY! I went here for the first time the other day. It got completely remodeled inside and looks amazing. Very clean. Nice new comfortable booths. Happy and friendly staff. The staff behind the counter were very nice. The Hoagie was so good and reminds me of PA!!!! Perfect portion size. I recommend you get it fully loaded, with the hot peppers and mayo! Yum! My new go to lunch spot! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
